Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
GigBookerAI ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by SCJON Enterprises LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at gigbookerai.com.
Information We Collect
When you create an account and use GigBookerAI, we may collect:
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, password (encrypted)
- Profile information: Address, date of birth, emergency contact, t-shirt size, avatar photo
- Band information: Band name, genre, location, member details, set lists, EPK content
- Gig and financial data: Venue details, gig dates, payment amounts, member splits, contract terms
- Venue information: Venue name, address, capabilities, contact details, booking history
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, feedback submitted
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and operate the GigBookerAI platform
- Display your profile and EPK to other users (only when you opt in to public visibility)
- Send you account-related emails (password resets, gig notifications, contract signing links)
- Calculate payment splits and generate earnings reports
- Improve the platform based on usage patterns and feedback
What We Never Do
These commitments cover everything in your account — your bands, gigs, contracts, earnings, and personal details. There is one narrow exception that applies only to our public marketing pages, and we spell it out under Cookies & Local Storage below.
- We never sell your personal data to third parties
- We never share your contact information, financial data, or member details with advertisers
- We never display your personal information publicly without your explicit consent
- We do not use your account data for targeted advertising
- We do not allow data brokers or marketing companies access to any user data
- We do not track you inside the app — no analytics or advertising code runs on any dashboard
Data Visibility Between Users
GigBookerAI is a collaborative platform. Here's what other users can see:
- Band members can see the band's gig calendar, set lists, and their own earnings. They cannot see other members' pay rates or personal contact details.
- Band admins can see member names, instruments, and payment configurations for their own band only.
- Venues can see public band EPK pages (when enabled by the band). Contract signing pages show only the contract details relevant to that venue.
- Sub musicians can see gig details for gigs they are assigned to. They cannot see full band financial data.
- Public EPK pages are opt-in. Your band profile is not publicly visible unless you explicitly enable it in Band Settings.
Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms — we cannot read your password
- Our database uses Row Level Security (RLS) — users can only access data they are authorized to see
- Authentication is handled by Supabase, an enterprise-grade platform trusted by thousands of applications
- Our application is hosted on Vercel, with automatic SSL and DDoS protection
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data remains in our system as long as you have an active account. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@scjonmusic.com and we will remove your data within 30 days.
Cookies & Local Storage
Inside the app — every dashboard, and everything you reach after signing in — we use browser local storage and session storage to keep you signed in and remember UI preferences such as avatar images and your selected band. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies anywhere inside the app.
On our two public marketing pages — the gigbookerai.com home page and the sign-up page — we use the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising pixel. It tells us whether our ads are reaching working musicians, and lets us show a follow-up ad to someone who visited but didn't sign up. That is the only third-party tracking we run anywhere.
- It records that a browser visited the page, and whether a sign-up followed. It does not receive your band data, gig data, contracts, earnings, or anything you enter in the app.
- It stops at the door. No advertising or analytics code loads on any dashboard, ever.
- You can block it with your browser's tracking protection, any ad blocker, or your Meta ad preferences. The site works exactly the same either way.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and realtime data sync
- Vercel — web hosting and content delivery
- Google Fonts — typography (DM Sans typeface)
- Resend — delivery of account and gig-related email
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising measurement on our two public marketing pages only, never inside the app (see Cookies & Local Storage)
These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with any service beyond what is required to operate the platform.
Children's Privacy
GigBookerAI is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
